The original UK release from the Beatles, and a special rarity here;
The albums were exceptional.
They were still starting out with recording and they were very busy at this period with gigs, TV appearances, photo sessions, and press sittings.
These early MONO issues were by far the best mix, as recorded and produced at Abbey Road Studio.
This initial FIRST PRESSING went quickly in pre-orders, but a lable executive's daughter complained that the groove was disturbing her record player needle!
This initial run was withdrawn and
rectified immediately, making THIS issue a limited rarity.
Remastered discs were pressed subsequently, and the lp soared up the chart.
I should add that the solid UK vinyl discs sound great in Mono.
Not a 'top copy' here, but still a reasonable player and example of this limited issue - and priced accordingly.
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades VG
The disc has an amount of surface marks, playing with some sound mostly at the beginning, and between tracks.
Yellow and black FIRST Lables are VG- / VG+ no stains, stickers or pen.
Raised 'K T' tax code on Side One centre, the lable has a short scrape around it.
The 1st Edition LAMINATED 3 tab 'FLIPBACK' COVER is VG overall.
Nice photos on rear, a stressed top seam.
A lined 'EMITEX' inner sleeve included.
