Side 2:  YEX 606 - 1          2     GL.

"DR. ROBERT" track title on both label & Sleeve.

Vinyl weighs in at 160g.

This is not the best copy around and not for the person looking for an EX/nr Mint copy.

It has been played a lot so has a lot of spider lines visible around the spindle holes.

When tilted under normal lighting both sides have quite a few surface marks/scratches although none are deep or nasty.

There is also a small warp which causes a 'wobble' during play, but this isn't too bad and has no effect on play at all.

Under halogen lights both sides have quite a few more light marks visible.

Has no sticks, skips or jumps and no evidence of groove wear except possibly at the start of track 1, side 2.

There is crackle in the run in/out areas and between all tracks which sometimes runs into the music.

Each track play grades as follows.

Side 1:

1. EX-. Has a little faint background crackle.

2. EX-. Has a little faint background crackle.

3. VG. Has some light background crackle which can be heard behind the music towards the end.

4. VG. Has some light background crackle which can be heard behind the music at the start.

5. VG+. Has a little faint background crackle & a couple of light 'clicks'.

6. VG+. Has a little faint background crackle & a couple of light 'clicks'.

Side 2:

1. VG-. Has some brief static in a couple of places at the start which could be due to groove wear. Also has a couple of 'clicks'.

2. EX. Plays well.

3. VG. Has a few light 'clicks' at about 3/4 way through.

4. VG. Has some brief, light background crackle in places.

5. VG. Has some brief crackle at the start & in the middle.

6. EX-. Has a little faint background crackle.

7. EX-. Has a little faint background crackle.

Front laminated 3-flipback Garrod & Lofthouse patents pending sleeve grades EX-.

Has a 6cm. split in the top edge centre, a light crease in the front, top right corner, a few laminated edge cracks & a few laminate creases near the opening. The spine text is in excellent condition.

Plain white inner sleeve with rounded corners and with 'Patents applied for' in one bottom corner and 'Made in Great Britain' in the other grades as EX.

I dispatch records in brand new, bought in mailers designed for the process. Before placing in the mailer I take LPs out of the sleeve place both in a polysleeve and between two card stiffeners and if there is a picture sleeve I place the LP in a plain sleeve to prevent knifing of the picture sleeve. [all this costs £0.80/single LP].

I USE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS AND USE A +/- WHERE I FEEL THAT IT'S APPROPRIATE.

(M) MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be mint.

(EX) EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

(VG) VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

(G) GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

(F) FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

(P) POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

(B) BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
