Description
This auction is for the Beatles 1966 album, Revolver. This is an original pressing on Parlophone PMC 7009. The matrix numbers in the runout grooves are: Side 1 - xex 605-2 mother/stampers 1/GTR , Side 2 - xex 606-2 7/GTH . The label has "sold in the uk etc" , and "The gramophone co ltd etc " around the edge of the label. The record is housed in the original EJ Day flipback cover. There are a few light creases and some yellowing to the background. The spine and all flipbacks are intact. No writing or tears anywhere on the cover. The rear panel is clean with some creasing across three of the corners. The fourth track on side 2 is spelt DR Robert, however on the record label it is DOCTOR Robert. The EMI inner sleeve has details of other albums of the time. The vinyl plays perfectly all the way through with no skips or loud clicks. There is a great clear mono sound . There are surface marks and the odd light scratch but nothing to spoil the audio experience. Light background noise and the odd light tick can be heard in parts, mainly between tracks. The labels are clean with some moderate spinde wear and a few age spots. This is a decent copy of a Beatles classic, any questions please ask.
