THIS RARITIES ALBUM IS IS STILL IN PRISTINE PERFECT CONDITION STILL WRAPPED AND UNOPENED IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINKWRAP with the original sticker dated 1980. (The year of John Lennon’s death)
There cannot be but a few of these in existence anywhere —
It is store new and looks as good as the day I brought it home in 1980...
...Flash back to December 1980 and I was working as a distribution manager for a large vinyl record manufacturing company when the sad news came that John Lennon had been shot . Capital Records used our plant to press some records due to the surge in demand and that is how I got this record 40 years ago this December.
Side note is that that the sticker is also dated Dec. 1980 as I am sure it was rushed to the printers immediately following John’s death
Not in any hurry to sell this, no idea of value so initial auction will start at $49.99.
