RATHER RARE CONTRACT PRESSING FROM DECCA!

yes the Beatles first two albums so very popular that EMI (Parlophone) could not make enough records quickly enough to keep up with the demand SO they asked DECCA to make some for them YES THE DECCA COMPANY THAT TURNED DOWN THE BEATLES 

(sounds awfully like John's sence of humour to me!)

DECCA LABEL IS EASILY RECOGNISED BY THE ENGRAVED CIRCLE ABOUT HALF INCH FROM THE LABEL 

MATRIX NUMBER SIDE ONE XEX 421-1N

stamped 11

MATRIX NUMBER SIDE TWO XEX 442-1N

has a couple of light marks on the vinyl however it played back brilliantly on my 4 speaker hi fi that picks up nearly all distortion or faults.

There were 3 TINY clicks at the very end of the track "Chains" , 2 light pops and light background at the beginning of the track "Do You Want To Know A Secret" 

brilliant playback considering this is a used rare vinyl , now of over sixty years of age!

sleeve is also a bitty rarer than the usual Garrod and Lofthouse ones

this is Ernest J. Day one that soon were to be ditched for the Garrod and Lofthouse make.

 Original Emitex inner sleeve again in pretty awesome condition for 61 years old, just a few creases etc.

This service costs a MINIMUM of £5.30 ON TOP of the Royal Mail’s Airmail service , packaging and handling costs.

REGARDLESS OF THIS IF YOU SUBTRACT THE EXTRA AS ABOVE, YOU WILL STILL FIND I HAVE ONE OF THEE CHEAPEST POSTAGE HANDLING AND SECURE PACKAGING COST FROM UK TO ANYWHERE ON THE PLANET. NOT ONLY THAT ALL ITEMS ARE POSTED SAME DAY (OR NEXT DAY - IF ITS NIGHT TIME) THAT PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED. THEREFORE THERE IS NO SAFER OR QUICKER METHOD OF POSTAGE FROM ANY OTHER EBAYER.

This service will provide me, the seller, with assurance that the item did arrive and the tracking number will be used to prove such.
