Scarce Original 1963 UK PARLOPHONE MONO Release
This is a very rare Original UK contract pressing, manufactured by Decca, of the Beatles debut "Please Please Me." In 1963, sales of the first Beatles album took off at such a pace that EMI couldn't keep up with demand. They hired competitor Decca Records to press a limited amount of records for a few weeks in an effort to fill orders and keep the album in the charts. Decca pressings are identified by the "deep groove" label, with a circular indentation running about half an inch from the outside edge of the label.

Condition of Vinyl: The Vinyl is visually graded as Very Good + Condition. I have played the LP through and the audio quality is lovely and clear with just some light occasional surface noise in a few places.
Condition of Labels: The Yellow & Black Contract Labels are both in Lovely Clean Condition with just some light wear around the spindle hole.
Condition of Sleeve: The Original Flip Back Sleeve is in Very Good Condition with some creasing & shelf wear (as seen in the photos). The spine has clear, crisp text.
