The Beatles – Please Please MePlease Please Me is the debut studio album by the Beatles. Parlophone rush-released the album on 22 March 1963 in the UK to capitalise on the success of the singles "Please Please Me", No. 1 on most lists and "Love Me Do" (No. 17).
As far as I know this is a 4th mono pressing on the black & yellow Parlophone label, produced in 1964. The labels carry the “Recording First Published 1963” text but not the “Sold In The UK...” text. The rim text is “The Parlophone Co Ltd. The 'MT' tax code can be seen on the Side 2 label. The sleeve is the rare front laminated, flipback, “Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. London” mid-sized mono cover. See condition below.
Side One: I Saw Her Standing There; Misery; Anna (Go To Him); Chains; Boys; Ask Me Why; Please Please Me.
Side Two: Love Me Do; P.S. I Love You; Baby It’s You; Do You Want To Know A Secret; A Taste Of Honey; There’s A Place; Twist And Shout.
The album is on Parlophone Records, PMC 1202. Matrix side one: XEX 421-1N (stamped). Matrix side two: XEX 422-2N (stamped).
Originally released in 1963, this version was produced in 1964. UK pressing. Mono.

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: very good (there is a hairline scratch which unfortunately causes light clicks at the very end of track one and parts of track two but certainly nothing that spoils your enjoyment of the music - see last photo, that apart plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle, it plays with a clear punchy mono sound and it sounds great).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (has the odd very light superficial mark that can only be seen under bright light that does not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle, it plays with a clear punchy mono sound and it sounds great).
Cover (front laminated, flipback): excellent (has a light laminate crease on the front near the spine edge, light aging and a few small marks on the back).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
