THE BEATLES

PLEASE PLEASE ME

STEREO PCS 3042

YEX 94 - 1 1 H

YEX 95 - 1 1 O

VERY RARE IN STEREO AS ONLY SOLD TO ORDER BACK IN 1963. HAS NICE EARLY STAMPERS THAT SHOW IT WILL HAVE ONLY BEEN A FEW WEEKS AFTER THE GOLDS.

THE HEAVY WEIGHT STEREO VINYL HAS KEPT A LOVELY SHEEN AND ONLY SHOWS LIGHT HAIRLINES AND SCRATCHING BUT NOTHING FEELABLE WHEN VIEWED UNDER A STRONG HALOGEN LIGHT. GRADES VG+

I HAVE PLAYED BOTH SIDES ALL THE WAY THROUGH AND IT PLAYED WELL. YOU COULD HEAR SOME LIGHT CRACKLE IN QUIETER AREAS AND THE ODD POP AND CLICK BUT NO SKIPS OR JUMPS AND NO CONSTANT SURFACE CRACKLE. THE VINYL HAS OBVIOUSLY BEEN PLAYED BUT HAS BEEN FAIRLY WELL LOOKED AFTER. THE AUDIO GRADES VG+ ALSO.

THE LABELS REMAIN NICE AND BRIGHT WITH NO GRAFFITI .GRADE EXCELLENT

THE EARLY ERNEST J DAY SLEEVE FRONT REMAINS NICE AND BRIGHT AND SHOWS SOME LIGHT CREASING BUT NO SPLITS OR TEARS.THERE IS SOME CORNER WEAR AND EGDE SCUFFING. THE REAR SHOWS SOME AGEING BUT HAS NO WRITING. THERE IS THE REMNANTS OF A STICKER, POSSIBLY A PRICE TAG ?(THE MARK ON THE OPENING EDGE IS JUST A CREASE AND NOT A TEAR) . THE FLIP BACKS HAVE THE USUAL WEAR AND THIS ONE REMAINS BETTER THAN MOST THAT YOU WILL SEE WITH TEARS ON THE FLIPS. THE SPINE IS STILL SHARP AND FULLY READABLE.GRADES VG.

THE VINYL IS HOUSED IN ITS ORIGINAL EMITEX INNER SLEEVE AND THIS HAS SOME CREASING AND SLIGHT OPEN EDGE WEAR. GRADES EX-.

THESE EARLY STEREO COPIES ARE MUCH MORE RARE THAN PEOPLE THINK AND THE MONO VERSION PROBABLY OUTNUMBERS THESE BY WELL OVER 10 TO 1.

YOU CAN BE CONFIDENT WITH YOUR PURCHASE.I HAVE SENT VINYL ALL ROUND THE WORLD AND ALWAYS RECEIVE GREAT FEEDBACK!

Grading:

MNT: Brand new condition, no surface marks no deterioration in sound, all paperwork should be in perfect condition

Excellent: The Record shows some signs of being played, there is very little lessening of sound quality. The packaging may have very slight signs of wear and /or creasing.

Very Good: The Record has been played a number of times, but there is no major deterioration in sound quality, despite slight surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

Good; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discoloration.

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

I add a plus or minus when the item is somewhere between two grades

If you are not happy with my grading then please email me before you leave feedback as I’m sure the issue can be resolved.
