SCARCE COPY ONLY PRESSED IN VERY SMALL NUMBERS. DECCA WERE SUB CONTRACTED TO KEEP UP WITH DEMAND ON THE EARLY BEATLES RELEASES BUT YOU WILL FIND 20 COPIES OF "WITH THE BEATLES" BEFORE YOU COME ACROSS 1 OF THESE. THEY JUST DO NOT SURFACE VERY OFTEN SO THIS COULD BE A GREAT CHANCE TO GET YOURSELF A COPY AS YOU DON'T KNOW WHEN THE NEXT ONE MIGHT APPEAR ON EBAY.

THE VINYL HAS KEPT A LOVELY SHEEN AND SIDE 2 GRADES BETTER THAN EXCELLENT . SIDE 1 HAS A FEW MORE LIGHT HAIRLINES AND GRADES EX- .

THE AUDIO WAS SUPERB THROUGHOUT WITH NO CLICKS,SKIPS OR SURFACE CRACKLE ETC. A REALLY GREAT LISTEN. I DID NOTICE A SLIGHT LIFT AS THE RECORD REVOLVED BUT THIS DIDN'T AFFECT PLAY IN ANY WAY. THIS WASN'T APPARENT ON SIDE 1 .

THE LABELS HAVE VERY SLIGHT SPINDLE TRAILS BUT REMAIN NICE AND BRIGHT WITH NO WRITING OR STICKER DAMAGE.GRADE VG+

THE SLEEVE FRONT REMAINS NICE AND BRIGHT AND SHOWS SOME EDGE WEAR AND CREASING BUT NO SPLITS OR TEARS. THE REAR IS MOSTLY WHITE BUT FOR SOME AGEING. THE FLIPBACKS SHOW SOME WEAR ON THE EDGES BUT ARE STILL INTACT.SLEEVE GRADES VG+.

THE VINYL IS HOUSED IN ITS ORIGINAL EMITEX INNER SLEEVE AND THIS HAS SOME CREASING AND AGE SPOTS. GRADES VG+.

Grading:

MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks no deterioration in sound, all paperwork should be in perfect condition

Excellent: The Record shows some signs of being played, there is very little lessening of sound quality. The packaging may have very slight signs of wear and /or creasing.

Very Good: The Record has been played a number of times, but there is no major deterioration in sound quality, despite slight surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

Good; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discoloration.

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

I add a plus or minus when the item is somewhere between two grades
