Description

THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME

THIS IS AN ORIGINAL RARE 4TH LABEL COPY WITHOUT THE RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED TEXT ON THE LABELS AND IS ALSO HOUSED IN A MUCH SOUGHT AFTER "GOLD SLEEVE".

MONO PMC 1202

XEX 421 - 1N 2 AG

XEX 422 - 1N 1/2 RT

THE THICKSET EARLY VINYL HAS KEPT A NICE SHEEN AND WHEN VIEWED UNDER A BRIGHT HALOGEN LIGHT YOU CAN SEE LOTS OF LIGHT MARKS AND HAIRLINES. THERE IS A SLIGHT FEELABLE SCRATCH ON SIDE 2 BUT IT DOESN'T AFFECT THE AUDIO.. GRADES VG VISUALLY

THE AUDIO WAS BRILLIANT ON MY DECK. PLAYED WITHOUT FAULT.

THE LABELS SHOWS SIGNS OF PLAY AROUND THE SPINDLE AND A SMALL STICKER MARK ON SIDE 2 BUT REMAIN BRIGHT .MT TAX STAMP ON SIDE 1 GRADE VG.

THE GOLD SLEEVE (INDICATED BY THE ANGUS MCBEAN CREDIT ON THE FAR RIGHT) SHOWS LOTS OF WEAR AROUND THE EDGES. USUAL FLIPBACK DAMAGE. THERE ARE NO TEARS AND FOR A GOLD SLEEVE IT IS IN QUITE NICE CONDITION AS MOST OF THESE ARE TRASHED.GRADES VG-

THE HEAVY INNER SLEEVE(NOT SURE IF IT IS ORIGINAL ) SHOWS ONLY LIGHT WEAR. GRADES VG+.

GREAT CHANCE TO OWN A RARE EARLY LABEL VERSION IN A GOLD SLEEVE !

YOU CAN BE CONFIDENT WITH YOUR PURCHASE.I HAVE SENT VINYL ALL ROUND THE WORLD AND ALWAYS RECEIVE GREAT FEEDBACK!

Grading:

MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks no deterioration in sound, all paperwork should be in perfect condition

Excellent: The Record shows some signs of being played, there is very little lessening of sound quality. The packaging may have very slight signs of wear and /or creasing.

Very Good: The Record has been played a number of times, but there is no major deterioration in sound quality, despite slight surface marks and the occasional light scratch.

Good; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discoloration.

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

I add a plus or minus when the item is somewhere between two grades

If you are not happy with my grading then please email me before you leave feedback as I’m sure the issue can be resolved.

All records are packed in mailers with stiffeners and pvc sleeves for protection.
