Description
Rare South African press of the legendary debut of The Beatles' Please Please Me LP pressed on the dark purple Parlophone label (PMCJ 1202).
The sleeve is in decent VG- condition, leaning slightly to VG (see pictures). Front is actually quite nice, but the back has a slightly discoloured appearance and the ring-wear forms part of it. Tiny stain on one of the edges. Otherwise just about decent.
The vinyl is in VG- condition. Surface noise here and there as expected from the light surface marks on the vinyl but nothing affect playback. Please note there is a small chip right on one of the edges of Side 2. There is some ''click'' as you pass over it a few times but doesn't affect the overall playback. The labels are in good condition, bit of pen writing on both sides.
A great, rare addition for 60’s & more so Beatles collectors worldwide!!
