Up for sale here is a very nice example of The Beatles Please Please Me Original Black And Gold UK Mono First pressing, in VG/VG condition.
This has been played and seen some years but it has been well kept for a long time. The cover is the early Gold cover with the photo credit: Angus McBean starting underneath the S rather than the G.
It has some wear around the corners and a little bit of ring wear on the back with a few minor creases here and there but it has survived well and is hard to find any better!
The vinyl itself has the occasional hairlines and there is a couple jumps on the first 2 songs of side two but otherwise both sides play great with the occasional pops and clicks, would play even better with a professional cleaning!
On side 1 it has the MT tax code stamped on the label to tell it is early, matrix numbers are XEX 421-1N/ XEX 422-1N.
Overall this copy is VG/VG, hard to find better in my opinion, any collector will be happy to add this rarity to their collection!
