Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Beatles, Beatles – related and Rolling Stones records that are form my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare 1972 Holland EXPORT pressing of The Beatles – Please Please Me on the RED Parlophone label, cat. no. PCS 3042. Usually, the Parlophone label in Holland was black with a silver print. However, in the early 1970’s a small batch of labels was printed on a red label with black print, only used for Export.
The record is in VG+ condition, there are a some non – sounding hairlines and a couple non-sounding scuffs. The labels are in VG+ condition, there are some spindle marks only.
The cover is in VG+ condition, there is some ring wear on the back and there is a small scratch on the picture just under John Lennon’s hands. Besides these mentioned imperfections, there is nothing wrong with this cover, no writing, no rips or tears or other unwanted damage.
Although not in dream Mint condition, this is a MEGA RARE HOLLAND EXPORT pressing of The Beatles’ Please Please Me album. Dating from the early seventies and made in a very limited quantity, these Dutch RED labels export pressings are very hard to find. This is a unique opportunity to complete your Beatles collection!
