"PLEASE PLEASE ME" b/w "ASK ME WHY" VEE-JAY 498

Released Fabruary 20, 1963! ULTRA-RARE ORIGINAL! Black labels with Vee-Jay brackets logos. Artist spelled correctly as THE BEATLES. Thick print. These label backdrops were first printed by Ivy Hill Lithograph Corp. in Great Neck, New York. Record manufactured by Monarch Records. Only 1,650 copies of the record were pressed and sold in early 1964! The MR symbol machine stamped in the trail off areas. Job numbers ?46527 hand etched on the A side and ?46527-X on the B side. "AudioMatrix" stamps on the both sides. Matrix numbers: 63-2967 / 63-2968. Accompanied by original 1963 Vee-Jay generic "circular logo" sleeve.
