1963 Beatles Please Please Me rare 4th mono press
The Vinyl: Very Good condition. The surfaces have a fair amount of superficial hairlines sweeping over the surfaces - but still retain a bright pressing sheen. There is one lightly feelable scratch which goes across track 2 and 3 side 2 causing cyclic ticks per revolution on those two tracks and briefly to end of track 1 and start of 4. These are generally light and don't spoil the record. There are no other marks or scuffs or dinks/ needle drops. Clean surfaces with a bright black pressing still retained.
Fourth Pressings (1963)
The standard yellow block writing on black bacground. The "All rights of the manufacturer" message around the edge of the label starts with "The Parlophone Co. Ltd." The label DOES have "Recording first published 1963", but NOT "Sold in the U.K..." statements.
Very heavy solid vinyl that lies completely flat on the turntable.
The Labels: Very Good Plus condition. A little light wear to the spindle perimeter and a couple of spindle lines on each side.
The Audio: Plays smoothly from start to finish on each side with warm mono bass and clear and lucid audio. There are some soft ticks in the run-in’s and fade-out’s at the start on each side but not noticeable over any audio, and apart from the scratch mentioned above. No jumps, no skips, no pops or sticks. These solid pressings always play better than the appearance might portray, and they were made to last, and overall the quality is near Excellent.
The cover: Solid but with expected wear to corners and edges. Some creases to laminateand wear to flipbacks. Bottom of rear has been fixed internallywith no evidence visible from outside. Postcode to rear. See photos.
Inner: original Emitex inner in excellent condition.

Side 2: 4/ 11 RDD
