Description

b/w "P.S.I Love You"

This is the "Ringo on drums and no tambourine" version with the "Made In Great Britain" credit. Please note the following:

Side One displays "ZT" at 9 o'clock in the dead wax (probably alluding to the tax code) with the number 1 underneath which indicates the "mother number" and refers to a very early pressing run. The letter "P" from Parlophone at 3 o'clock, again indicating a very early issue.

Side Two also displays "ZT" at 9 o'clock and "JR" at 3 o'clock at the stamper position. From information received this yet again refers to a very early pressing, ie previous to using the P-A-R-L-O-P-H-L-T-D coding system

Around the Side Two spindle hole we read (starting at the 6 o'clock position and reading clockwise): O T Z T. From my understanding this could refer to the very early tax code OT  changing to the later ZT tax code, ie it is in that changeover period, again very early

IT'S ON THE ORIGINAL RED UK PARLOPHONE LABEL 45-R 4949 FROM 1962. THE RECORD IS IN EX MINUS/VG+ CONDITON. Sorry, plain white sleeve

I am still researching on this fascinating item, watch this space!
