Description
This item is a very rare one sided Parlophone Records test pressing containing the Paul McCartney song ‘Write Away’. This song was the B side of Paul’s 1986 single ‘Pretty Little Head’. Test pressing record itself is in excellent condition with just a couple of small light scuffs and plays great. What’s interesting about this test pressing is that there are grooves on the other side (B Side) of the test pressing however when played there is about 3 minutes of silence with no music! Test pressing matrix numbers are:
SIDE A - R 6145 B-3-3U-1-
SIDE B - FB 7
Both record labels have some hand writing on them and a date rubber stamped (9 OCT 1986)? On the B side (see photos)
Record comes housed in its original black generic sleeve. This is the only one of these that I’ve ever seen in over 45 years of collecting Beatles and Solo recordings by the group.
