Description
This is it!!! The ultra-rare norwegian pressing of Let It Be.
As with all norwegian releases the artwork was imported from UK, so the cover, the box and the book are all made in UK, but the album itself was made in Norway. You can clearly see the difference on the labels.
THE RECORD: It got the 2U stampers, and is in great shape, close to MINT. I have played it carefully to be sure that it sounds as great as it looks, and it has a great audio with no obvious interference to distract form the overly enjoyment of this ground breaking record. This ULTRA RARE Stereo press has strong undistorted audio, with Super clear audio and absolutely minimal background static. There is certainly no dominant interference, and NO loud pops or clicks or Distortion. It really sounds great and plays with great sound separation and clarity!
This is a unique pressing of LET IT BE, with no loud clicks or pops anywhere and certainly other obvious interference. There is virtually no static at all, apart from between the tracks, and even that is far from obvious. Great music with great clarity, I doubt this sound could be bettered. I would give this great record a strict audio grading of EX+ to NM, but it got a few paper scuffs, so visual I will grade it EX.
THE LABELS: A wonderful set of the unique norwegian Apple Labels. Deep colour with NO spindle traces at all. They got a slightly different font than it is on the UK-labels.
THE COVER: Comes with the original Fully Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse UK sleeve, displaying the ULTRA RARE RED APPLE logo to the reverse of the sleeve. There is no feathering to the opening edge, which is very rare. There are some light laminate creases only and some very minor ringwear (as shown clearly in the images) . This really is great UK press cover. Easily grades at EX-
THE OUTER BOX: Comes with the original Fully Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Outer Box, in great Condition. No Tears, No writing, just some very small scuffs. Easily grades at EX.
THE INNER BOX TRAYS: Comes with the original Inner Box Trays. No Tears, No writing, just some very light scuffs. Probably the most fragile components of the Let It Be box set, there are nearly always in bits, heavily torn and often discarded and replaced with replicas. This two part Inner Tray set is fully intact and functioning, and 100% original. Easily grades at EX.
THE BOOK: Original LET IT BE book in truly stunning Condition. No Tears, No writing, no creasing, no missing or loose pages. It would be very hard to find a better example. Easily grades at EX+ to NM. The book is close to perfect. Of course it have the sticker inside intact.
THE INNER SLEEVE: Original correct plain white norwegian EMI inner record sleeve, in great condition. No Tears, No writing, just a few light creases and some yellowing. Grades at EX.
Finding a complete RED APPLE 1st press box set in this great condition is very very rare. Finding a NOREGIAN pressing is almost impossible, I have in my 25 years of coeecting and dealing seen less than 10 copies of this GEM out on the market, and I have never - NEVER - seen one for sale on eBay. The fact that all components like the tray, the book, the record and everything else is in such a great condition makes this a real unique once in a lifetime opportunity. I am pretty sure that it will take 5-10 years before you get this chance again.
Happy bidding. :)
