Description
Offered for sale is a 12" vinyl LP, of The Beatles’ Greatest Hits by The Beatles (also sometimes called Hottest Hits). Released exclusively in Sweden in 1965, this record is pretty hard to find nowadays even in Sweden. The catalogue number is PMCS 306. It comes complete with its original picture sleeve and a plain inner sleeve.
It’s in reasonably good condition overall, especially considering its age. The outer sleeve is pretty good; there are signs of ringwear, especially on the front cover, but there are no splits or tears anywhere.
The inner sleeve is starting to split a bit on one edge (see picture), but is in good condition otherwise.
The vinyl itself is marked with quite a lot of very light surface scratches - it is difficult to see these unless they are in direct light but I have tried to capture these in the pictures. Side 2 has a couple of more significant scratches - again, please see the pictures - but both sides play through fine. The labels are also generally clean, with minimal spindle marks.
Overall this is a reasonably nice copy of this very rare Beatles LP in a good sleeve, which has plenty of life left in it for a fan.
