Offered for sale is a 12" vinyl LP, of The Beatles’ Greatest Hits by The Beatles. Released exclusively in Sweden in 1965, this record is pretty hard to find nowadays even in Sweden. The catalogue number is PMCS 306. It comes complete with its original picture sleeve and a plain inner sleeve.
It’s in reasonably good condition overall, especially considering its age. The outer sleeve is tatty; there are clear signs of ringwear on both the front and rear sides, and there is a split to the spine edge, as well as a small split in the top right corner on the rear side and the bottom edge – please see the pictures.
The inner sleeve has been written on on both sides and there is a split along the bottom edge (see picture), but it is in ok condition otherwise and has largely protected the record itself.
The vinyl itself plays fine with no skips or jumps. The labels are also generally clean, though there are quite a lot of spindle marks on either side. Side 1 is fine with a few light surface marks and light scratches, but nothing too large. Side 2 has quite a large surface scuff that also runs across the bottom of the label - please see the pictures for a close up view of this. It is only on the surface and it does not affect the playback - but please look at the pictures to see the extent of it.
Overall this is a fairly nice copy of this very rare Beatles LP in a fair sleeve, which has plenty of life left in it for a fan.
