A THE BEATLES FOR SALE ORIG 1964 UK LP STEREO RARE 1ST PRESS PARLOPHONE PCS 3062.
Seems to be a Genuine 1st Press - Around d the Bottom of the label it says 'The Parlophone Co....' - Later issue say 'The Gramophone Co...'
Also has 'M T' Tax Code on Label, rather than later 'K T' Code
Matrix A - YEX 142 - 1 - 4 O. Matrix B - YEX 143 - 1 - 2 P.
Vinyl is, surprisingly clean - please note, the earlier pictures are taken under a very bright light & show every spec of dust - I turned the light of for the later pictures which show, the true sheen of the record.
Although the overall appearance is excellent, I am rating VG+ as there are some light marks to the vinyl.
I have played the record and it plays well throughout, as it was intended to sound, with no Skip or Jump.
The Sleeve shows some wear - but it is not ripped or torn on the spine. Which is common with this gatefold cover.
The original emitex Inner is missing, although these are easily replaced.
Honestly, I've checked online & this is the 1st 1st Stereo issue. The 2nd issue has the Losser error with the 'Gramophone' rim.
Only the 1st 1st Stereo Press has the 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd....' around the bottom of the label with the yellow & Black Label.
