This hand-operated record is a must-have for any true Beatles fan.


The Beatles"Hand-operated Flexi-Disc / with mailing envelope"SHOL-3254, vintage late 1960's, quite rare, from The Netherlands, this item was a promotional piece for the Christmas Fan Club LP (which contained all the "Fan Club Only" Christmas flexi-disc releases), produced in limited numbers this overall it measures 8" x 6", and the flexi-disc is attached to a hand-operatedfold-outcard...an "actual record player" complete with needle, comes with the printed outer envelope. The flexi-disc appears to be in sub fair condition, the overall cardboard bi-fold is in sub fair condition, the envelope is in used condition.


The condition is not flawless obviously. It has definitely been used. The cardboard fold to attach needle has a two inch split and the record itself has a slight warped quality. It does work. With practice I was able to operate and listen to it hearing the members voices. It's definitely unique and rare and an pretty amazing piece of technology for the time.
