Description
Up for sale in this auction is a rare original interview LP from The Beatles released by Ring Around The Pops. "This vinyl LP contains interviews with members of the Beatles made during their 1966 USA Tour.
Interviewer is Ken Douglass. Ownership of this material was donated by The Beatles publicity dept. to "Ring Around The Pops", a Braille Quarterly published in Louisville, KY in the hopes it would help The Beatles image after the Butcher cover and John's religious comments. Original pressings were used for various fund-raising efforts by the School for the Blind in Louisville. Pressed by Precision Record Pressing, Nashville, TN who normally only pressed 7" 45's and are not listed in their pressing catalog. The original black vinyl release was pressed in 1966 and were sold at The School for the Blind record store and were put on consignment at other local record stores. When most didn't sell the remainder was destroyed. Unknown how many were sold or are left." Vinyl is rated at VG conservatively with some signs of use and wear. Some light hairlines and scuffs are present. Still plays through fantastically and looks to be rarely played with fresh and glossy vinyl as well as extremely clean center labels. Jacket is rated at VG+ conservatively with only minor wear present. On the inside of the jacket where you would put the record someone has stamped their name with a custom made stamp about 2 inches long and a quarter inch tall. We have seen this stamped on a few Beatles related records we've received and every one was cared for and taken care of. This person was a proud and careful owner of all of their Beatles memorabilia! Please see photos and/or ask questions before bidding.Disclaimer...We will not adjust the listed value of the record on customs forms for international orders, as per our policy and Ebay's preference. Thank you.

- SS Still Sealed
- M Mint - Perfect in all ways.
- M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
- NM- Near Mint Minus - Extremely well cared for record. Probably a record that's been around for some years but extremely well looked after, but still not quite new enough to call Mint.
- VG++ Very Good Plus - As close to NM as it comes.
- VG+ Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
- VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
- VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
- G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
