ORIGINAL UK 1st PRESS AUS DEM JAHR 1964 IN HERVORRAGENDEM ZUSTAND - GATEFOLD COVER - SCHWARZ/GELBES PARLOPHONE LOGO - NOCH MIT DEM ORIGINAL "KANSAS CITY" BEI TITEL A7 !!
UK 1st PRESS (KANSAS CITY) IN TOP CONDITON !!
Released in a gatefold sleeve that opens from the inside and with horizontal flipbacks in the centre spread.
First pressing. Black/yellow labels with silver lettering. “The Parlophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print. “Recording first published 1964? and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text.
This is for original pressings only with track A7 titled as just "Kansas City" (Lieber-Stoller)
Later pressings had to be retitled for legal reasons.
The original LP sleeve and the label listed the song as "Kansas City" (Lieber-Stoller).
After the attorneys for Venice Music complained, the record label was revised to read:
"Medley: (a) Kansas City (Leiber/Stoller) (P)1964 Macmelodies Ltd./KPM. (b) Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey (Penniman) Venice Mus. Ltd. (P)1964."
