1966 Withdrawn SMilE US Picture Sleeve
Capitol Records 5826
SIGNED BY BRIAN WILSON and VAN DYKE PARKS!
This was printed up by Capitol Records in late 1966
for the expected Jan 1967 release of The Beach Boys New Single Heroes and Villains.
In the time it took for Brian to complete the New single and deal with The Beach Boys vs Capitol Records Law suites, It was decided that the single would be the first on their New record Label, BROTHER Records. Heroes was released in the US as Brother 1001.
Capitol, being stuck with all these sleeve didn't want to trash them, Like they did 6 months earlier with The Beatles Butcher Cover.
So, They sent some to Canada, where the Record was released as Capitol 1001 with The 5826 being over printed with a Black line, Others were sent to Denmark and Sweden.
It was finally released in this version as part of the 2011 SMiLE Sessions Box Set,

Brian Wilson is on Tour now! VIP Packages cost $250 and you DO NOT GET TO MEET HIM and due to Covid no one knows if He will ever have Meet and Greets again... So, the chances of getting anything signed these days is pretty slim.
