    THE BAND SELF TITLED LP--ULTRA RARE US RAINBOW LBL-EXC!
Up for auction here, with NO RESERVE, is the ultra-rare 1969 absolute first pressing of the self-titled debut LP by the Band, on Capitol Records, with the RAINBOW label. I have only seen a couple of these in 25 years of collecting, and this pressing is without a doubt the rarest LP in existence by The Band. The LP is in Near Mint minus condition on side one, with a couple of faint marks, and VG++ on side two, due to a few surface scuffs which can be lightly felt, but which cause no problems other than a bit of surface noise for a few revolutions. The labels are Near Mint with no spindle marks. The jacket is Near Mint minus with small corner dings, but NO SEAM SPLITS, WRITING, DRILL HOLES, TAPING, GLUEING, ETC.!
