THE BAND Real Old Time
VG+/EX Used Vinyl 2 Record Set
Record Label: Rubber Band Records 34
Unofficial Live Album packaged in full printed gatefold sleeve. Audience recording from the Hollywood Bowl, Los Angeles, July 10, 1970.
Condition: Gatefold record jacket has ring wear and minor creases on the front and back. Corners are dull. There is a name sticker on the bottom right corner of the front. Spine, top and bottom all have chipping (shelf wear but no splits. Vinyl in surprisingly good shape... I hesitate to call it near mint, but it is darn close. A very small amount of visual scuffs, but plays nicely. Well taken care of.

Review: This is a double album. Although recorded from the audience, the audio quality is very very good. Many people prefer this to the official live album since they sound livelier and don’t have the horn section. Great show that gave me, yet again, a deep appreciation for how good these guys were. Richard Manuel was really the soul of the band, as evidenced on tunes like Rocking Chair. And Robertson contributes some tasty licks. Great versions of This Wheel and Don’t Do It. The quality is probably B or B- for now, but pretty good for the time it was created.
