the AMAZING crossover-black throash of PSYCHIC POSSESSOR!! Original Pressing on COGUMELO records. Includes insert! cover is flimsy and shows wear (thats how originals almost always are) but the record plays great..call it vg+ and play it safe. GREAT RECORD
Very rarely do I get an album that ends up being everything that I'm expecting it to be. Toxic Diffusion is one of those rare albums that is. This album is so excellent, that it's almost hard for me to write a review on it, outside of just saying 'Dude! This album is sweet! It's just so... fucking sweet!!!'. I'm sure you know what I mean. This album is truly genius. Imagine good crossover thrash and gang shouts, colliding with blackmetal hyper riffing and tortured screams that would bring a tear to the eye of any fan of Brazillian bands like Holocausto or Sextrash. Not to mention the album itself. The artwork alone should clue you in to the awesomeness of the music contained within. The lyrics are in English, and arent as bad as they could have been. They have the same primal imagery that makes listening to Sarcafago so much fun, eg 'TV Sucker'.
The only downside to this album is that it's incredibly hard to find, period. Let alone the astronomical prices you'll have to pay once you do locate said album. Hopefully someone re-releases it on CD. In fact, come to think of it, this album would be a perfect new project for a newer upstart label such as Nuclear War Now! to take on. There really isnt anything readily avaliable to compare this to. The only thing that even comes close might be some of the newer thrash bands coming on the scene now, 18 years later. That alone definitely makes this album even more exciting. If you can find it, buy it. Even for a large chunk of change, any underground thrash fan in the know wont regret it.
