THE ACTION – Brain LP, Autumn stone archives / Dig The Fuzz Records Dig005.
Extremely Rare White Label Promo / Test Copy & original vinyl with booklet and photo and Press Release Sheet.This is the first issue of the lost recordings from the Action. Where as Rolled gold is taken directly from the master tapes. This release was taken from the original 1960s acetate demo copy made from the masters and includes the rare demo version of “in my dreams”. This results in lesser sound quality but possibly a slightly different mix. This is a must and would still be of great interest to any ACTION fan as there is a detailed booklet written by Alan King and a photo collage print of the band live in the 1960s. Released as a limited vinyl edition of 500 copies in total the booklet and photo came only with the first few hundred copies. This White Label copy including a obscure press release sheet was one of 5 copies, and an early Dig The Fuzz artefact.
Catching the Action in there transitional period between Mod soul and psych pop and with a bit of help from George Martin these are some pretty amazing demo’s.
