  DETROIT - NEW YORK JUNCTION
W/ Thad Jones, Billy Mitchell, Kenny Burrell, Tommy Flanagan, Oscar Pettiford & Shadow Wilson. Just great one this album. Original issue with blue/white label, Lexington adress and deep groove. RVG and 'ear' etched in the dead-wax.

        

Orig US mono LP on Blue Note (BLP 1513), 1956.
        

                              

  Vinyl* VG | Has scuffs and marks, one feelable on track B1 that causes some clicks and pops. Otherwise record plays with light background crackle, more siginificant in the slower, calmer tunes. A strong VG for me, most of this record plays really really well.


                    

  Cover** VG+ | Has surface and a little edge wear plus a split on the spine, from the top and cirka four inches down. Holds together perfectly.

We grade records with ear and eye, VG- being the lowest grade followed by VG, VG+, EX and finally NM being the highest.
