Vinyl grading:
M = Mint (like new, looks Unplayed!) (Superior play)
NM = Near Mint (very clean, barely a mark) (Plays Great!)
VG++ = Excellent (some very light scuffs or hairlines) (Nice Play…barely any surface crackle)
VG+ = With a decent amount of scuffs and hairlines (with some light surface noise)
VG = Very scratched (but plays much better than the appearance seems to be)
Cover Grading:
NM = Cover shows no seam splits, no ringwear, barely any or no edge wear.
NM- = Same as NM but may have 1 or 2 small imperfections which are not significant
VG+ = Perhaps a neatly taped seam split or two, or some creases, or some light ringwear or a combination of these
VG = Often strong signs of ringwear, or many seam splits, or large very noticeable creases, or stains or a combination of these
G = An unappealing cover in many ways but the rareness of the album or the high quality of the vinyl makes the album still worthwhile to the listener
