DEMONSTRATION SAMPLE
MEGA RARE Demonstration Sample one sided tri centre unboxed Decca single CANDY FLOSS.. The catalogue number is DRF 24040 though the matrix number is DRF 24041 T1 1C. On the reverse side 45-RPM-BACK is stamped into the dead wax. Although the B-side is grooved it is in fact blank The record plays as Excellent
Stamped onto the blue label is another Decca catalogue number f 10977. This is actually the official Decca catalogue for the 1958 release The Golden Age/ C'min And Be Loved.
CANDY FLOSS was NEVER issued as a single!!
So what we have here is a ONE SIDED DEMONSTRATION SAMPLE, NEVER RELEASED AS A SINGLE WITH A DIFFERENT DECCA CATALOGUE NUMBER STAMPED ON THE LABEL AND THE STAMPED MATRIX NUMBER NOT MATCHING THE NUMBER PRINTED ON THE LABEL
