Tapestry-Down By Maple River, Polydor, 2424 078, 1973.

Canadian-only Montreal recorded folk/rock in English that's finally starting to catch on with it's laid-back Neil Young influence (especially on "Oldtimer"). "He Has Changed" is a slow Hammond and female vocal dirge with amazing vibe. JP Lauzon plays acoustic or electric guitar on five tracks. Produced by Cliff Edwards (of the Counts Four, Bells, and the rustic Carpenter Of Wood fame, notable for it's contributions from Riverson members Brian Edwards and Rayburn Blake). LP housed in a beautiful gatefold jacket with excellent art direction, Down By Maple River is a solid play end-to-end and certainly an album to cherish.
