Tactics – Long Weekend EP (orig. Australia “Folding Chair Music” STEREO PRS-2653, with wrap-around picture cover)
Release date: September 1979. Recording date: June 1979.
On offer here is an EXTREMELY RARE original issue of the first release (independent 3-track EP) by TACTICS. The recordings contained within these grooves are POST PUNK (or “ART PUNK”) of the highest order! TACTICS were originally from Canberra; a city not widely renowned for its punk and alternative music scene. This is actually my own copy which I bought from Skinny’s Records in Brisbane in the 1980’s. I rate this EP as one of my favourite AUSSIE PUNK vinyl artefacts.
