T Rex 45: An Interview Session with Marc Bolan
Original pressing on the Japanese Odeon label: BRP-4001
Matrix Numbers: BRP-4001-A 1S and BRP-4001-B 1S
Condition: The picture sleeve has slight handling marks but is a strong Ex and is as good as you will find with no writing or tears. The vinyl looks great with just the odd scuff and a couple of spindle marks, nothing to be concerned about. The insert has pin marks in the corner and a brown stain near the bottom left corner as per scan so I have graded at Vg.
This record was only available by returning the obi from the Tanx album and was limited to 1000 copies making it rarer than the British multifold Zinc Alloy album. It contains an interesting interview in English that was recorded 5th December 1972 and lasts nearly 15 minutes. It was therefore pressed at 33.3 rpm making it technically an e.p. The interview is reproduced on the insert in Japanese for buyers who did not speak English. The chances of finding another is pretty slim.
I am selling items from my personal collection formed over 40 years. I am not a dealer so I know the history of these records, many of which I bought new at the time of release and have carefully stored (mostly in plastic sleeves). I have never cleaned my records apart from the the odd use of a record brush or cloth so they are in very original condition. If you have any questions please email me.
