Description
For a period of about 8 years in the late 60's and the early 70's , records were being pressed in Lebanon under licence from the parent record companies. This stopped when the local civil war broke out in 1975 and was never resumed. Only very few copies of each record were pressed. So, if you do find a record that is pressed in Lebanon, be sure that it is a very rare item.
T. Rex - Solid Gold Easy Action/ Born To Boogie
This extremely rare EMI 45 was pressed in Lebanon. The label has a sort of negative image of the original UK label. See below the scan of the record as well as a scan of the original UK record so you can see what I mean. The label doesn't say Made In Lebanon but someone who used to work with EMI Lebanon in those days confirmed that the record was made here. The record is in VG++ condition. It comes in it's original EMI Lebanon sleeve.
