Description
Sylvia Welling -- a good soprano -- performs the catchy foxtrot "Trust the Regulo" ("from the Radiation Film 'What the Chefs Saw'") on this 1932 Edison Bell advertising disc for "New World" Porcelain Enameled Gas Cookers. She is accompanied by the Gainsborough Orchestra, a peppy dance band. Unless "What the Chefs Saw" is still at your local theater, this is your only chance to hear either of them. On the flip side, a pitchman discusses "What the Chefs Saw." The "dinner cooks itself" ad in the last picture is not included in this auction.
This record is in V++ condition. If you smell gas, stop playing records, go outside, and call 911.
I'm a longtime collector who is downsizing. I know how to pack records.
