Description
Beethoven - Violin Sonatas #8 in G & #9 in A. Nathan Milstein - violin, Arthur Balsam - piano. Capitol PAO-8430 (mono), US pressing, 1st label. Gatefold jacket.
Condition: Disc: NM. Clean, mark-free vinyl. No spindle trails on either side suggest very little play. Plays NM throughout. Jacket: VG++, some seam separation on upper edge only, otherwise perfect. An exceptionally nice 1st issue copy of this early mono Milstein.
About Grading: My grading is based primarily on a careful visual inspection. If I see any marks, I will check them by playing and will tell you both about the marks and what I heard. Occasionally, I will audition a record all the way through if rare, and will again tell you if I do this and what I heard. It is unfortunate that time does not allow me to listen to everything but I try to apply generally used grading standards conservatively. I also try to describe carefully what I find so you have no surprises. In addition, you always have a money back return privilege if you disagree with my grading (see below for details).
