Description

Rare 78 RPM custom acetate recorded by Sam Phillips at Sun Studio in Memphis, TN at 706 Union Ave.  Sam Phillips made custom recordings for clients and cut them acetates.   This recording is by a male pop singer being accompanied by a pianist.  It isn't rockabilly or blues, or the type music you typically associate with Sun Records.  It is however a very cool and unique artifact for a Sun Records fan.  The songs are "I Believe" and "Through a Long and Sleepless Night"  Record plays good but has some general wear from age.  No major issues.  Check out my other auction for a Memphis Black Gospel Soul acetate from Sam Phillips Recording in Memphis.
