This ultra rare Sun Ra recording from 1972 has matrix number 1272 A/B and features a hand crafted album cover known as the Shower Curtain edition shown in pics as well as colored center label and signed by both Sun Ra himself on one side, and by vocalist June Tyson on the other side with the words “Space is the place” I bought this from Marshall Allen, the Arkestra’s alto player at the door of Joe Segal’s Jazz Showcase on Rush Street in Chicago 50+ years ago. They often had albums for sale before the show. The album is in very good condition for its age, and the cover is in good condition with two sides open.
