Description

ARTIST: Sun Ra & His Solar Arkestra
LABEL: Thoth Intergalacti LPB 711 (1969 Mono)
TITLE: The Magic City
CONDITION:
Sleeve: VG+ to VG++ w/ some ring wear. Has a few raised lines on the front cover where the slick was not pasted down flatly. Has some bottom seam wear w/ a tiny nick. Has a touch of top seam wear. The spine is intact w/ nice readable graphics.
Record: Both sides retain high original gloss. Side B has what looks like a line mark caused during manufacture that runs through about half the side. It causes light background ticks through the bass and percussion solos on the last track. The rest of both sides play VG+ to VG++ w/ some random background surface noise in some sections and even better in other passages. / Both sides have great sound presence. / VPI cleaned / By the spindle hole it looks like this LP may have been played a few times. / Side B label has a stain
COMMENTS: Original Thoth Mono copy of this Sun Ra classic. Stampers : B-711-A / B-711-B with Saturn circled
