Sun City Girls- Apna Desh (Hindi Mambo Guitar with Vocal) / Rookoo Bay (Hispaniolan Ballad), released by the Perfect label (15612-A/B) (11801) in 1994.

*This anomalous rarity was released by Dean Blackwood in 1994, the year he started the "Perfect" label, using an identical design to the old Perfect label of the 20's & 30's.  Shortly thereafter, Blackwood released a double 78rpm by John Fahey.  Blackwood and Fahey's relationship began with this release, and together they founded the magnificent Revenant Records in 1996.  Now, this is a genuine 78rpm record, which has to be played like any other 78.  It even looks, feels and sounds like the "real-deal" and is one of the few examples of an actual 78rpm release in our post-modern era.  I don't know how many of these were manufactured, but I'm sure you can take a guess that it wasn't many at all.  Remixes of these two brilliant sides later appeared on SCG's "330,003 Crossdressers from Beyond the Rig Veda", considered by most to be one of their finest albums.  "Apna Desh" is a whirling, twisted gem of international psychedelia, while "Rookoo Bay" is an entrancing, dark voodoo standard.*

The Record is properly play-graded in E condition.  The record plays with an incredibly loud sound, and barely any surface noise is heard.  Visually, it shows a very rich luster and looks virtually flawless.
