Up for auction the best electro funk LP ever produced in Holland, recorded by the legendary SUMY. Filled to the brim with fat electro grooves. Insanely good LP that we at Bombaybeat like to play from A-Z at volume 10, .... and again and again. Not only fit for sampling, but this LP will also grow on you. With the fat direct sound that's typical for privately recorded LP, and also the charming aura that first may sounds kind of unprofessional but will get you hooked madly for Sumy is "For Real". Featuring REALITY founder & guitarist FRANKIE DOUGLAS.

The album was ecorded in 1983 by the Amsterdam-East legend SUMY whose firm belief in himself has kept him on the road for over 25 years now. Sumy who thought of himself as the  Dutch-Surinam Prince, as proved by the liner notes: "produced, arranged, composed and performed by Sumy".  He is a worthy heir to both Parliament & Spinoza:  "Thanks to the Funk Force, all featuring performers and all children of this Starsystem who's name I did not mentioned! May ALLAh and the invisable God of Sumy repay my duce, for all beings are in me but I am not in them!"
We at Bombaybeat especially love the cover, which is produced by nobody less then "fcuk u" design.

As said, filled to the brim with fat electro funk grooves & samples. Amazing lyrics like "Where were you last night sexy lady ...did you have a dream of a very sexy guy?"  and "Bad and evil that's what I am, I'll sell you Holland that's just my thang".  And what about the song "Bittch we danced a lot?"
