Released by Studio One in 1967, cat # SO-2026; this is “Why Did You Leave†/ “Don’t Try To Reach Me†by Ken Boothe.
This week is a selection of the labels we have left to sell from our reggae collection. If you’ve not seen our auctions before, where have you been! Some immense singles this week in fantastic condition that defy their age. Remember, most are mint, some were unplayed until we got hold of them and all are one owner from new and have NEVER been offered for sale anywhere else – ever. You’ve dreamt about singles in this condition – now see them for real!
Both labels are clean with only one spindle mark on A-side label. There is mark “in†the vinyl on the A-side, but this is a discolouration, not a pressing fault. The B-side is unmarked. Before playing, the spindle hole had to be gently widened to fit onto the record deck – a sign that maybe this record was unplayed until now. The A-side had a tiny bit of surface noise on first play, but I have every expectation that this will disappear with a few plays – apologies to the new owner for having to play this record! The B-side played mint.
Postage and packing for one record will be £1.10 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are £1.30 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.
Insurance is extra and will be required if the value of the record or overall consignment exceeds £28.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
