Description

This Studio 1 LP is a must-have for any reggae fan. I just love it but it’s time to clear my collection. Produced in Jamaica, this record features some of the best artists to record for Studio 1.

I’ve owned this since being a teenage skinhead in 1970 and used to frequent record shops in Harlesden and Willesden buying ska mainly.

It was tape recorded soon after and hence rarely played .

The record retains its sheen though has some very light scuffing on Side 2 .( see photo) There is some wear on the final track of side 1 ( see third photo) which creates clicking on that one track but does not prevent playing . Other than that it’s in amazing condition with no writing / tearing on the labels or cover .

The cover has only minor wear on corners (see photos) , no splits / tears and on the reverse you can see the outline of where a price tag was removed when I originally bought this .

The run out has inscribed on it .. “SPIDER-MAN” followed by … “ A SCORCHER FROM STUDIO 1 “

Please note I have a 100 per cent record on EBay selling rate records and memorabilia. I always send free of postage costs if a UK buyer.

I have priced this fairly and think this will increase further in value as apart from the one track I’ve mentioned it is in amazing condition for its age and these are hard to find as have only seen two on sale worldwide both at £50 -£60!
