BIS Records was founded in 1973 by Robert von Bahr, with the aim of helping world-class Swedish musicians to reach international audiences. Starting out with a Revox tape-recorder, two state-of-the-art microphones and a pair of non-magnetic scissors he immediately impressed connoisseurs by the natural sound of his recordings, and single-handedly built up a catalogue that could be exported all over the world.
Now in its 35th year, BIS is a flourishing and much respected label with more than 1.400 titles in stock. This is due to the universally recognized superior sound quality of its recordings. The company’s reputation has attracted an impressive list of artists.
This recording is often used by publications such as The Absolute Sound and Stereophile as a reference disk when evaluating high end audio systems. On a good stereo system this album will sound very impressive, and on a high end system it will sound amazing! Indeed, this album is a must-have reference and demonstration disk for anyone desiring the ultimate in solo piano music.

I am the original owner, and I am a recovering audiophile. I have always taken fastidious care of my records. This album is from my personal collection. This record has been played seldomly, maybe once or twice, always using a properly-adjusted tonearm and cartridge, and only after dry cleaning carefully with a carbon-fiber brush. Please bid with confidence, knowing that you are going to own a truly rare item in exceptionally good condition, sounding just as good as a sealed copy, but at a much lower price. NO RESERVE.
