Description
Stravinsky conducts THE RITE OF SPRING –
Columbia MS-6319 –
6-eye Original
For some there is no other RITE worth considering. This is the original performance that Columbia President Goddard Lieberson insisted be conducted by the composer, and it is fine indeed.
Cover is without fault; record within will play near mint. The light mark on side 2 does not sound.
A very fine copy, worthy of the finest vinyl library.
For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.
Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
