Description

Hi here’s a very rare vinyl copy of “And On the Sixth Day While God Created Manchester, the Lord Created The Stone Roses” album of early recordings, demo tracks and alternative versions of the some of the songs that would make the Stone Roses legends.

Incredibly hard to find these days, some of the demo recordings from the mid-80s are fairly well produced (Martin Hannett?), some sound much more ropey but it’s great to hear the band in its earliest days finding its feet.

The record is a white label, unofficial release and plays pretty well considering - a fair amount of general surface noise and pops, and a scratch on track 2, although a weighted needle solves that on my player. The sleeve is a bit rough around the edges has has been taped for strength at the top.

But you aren’t buying it for production values , it’s famous collector’s item, so pick up a rare copy for a bargain price.
