Description

Original 10" L.P. issue. Leader, Stan Getz, tenor sax; Al Haig, piano; Teddy Kotick, bass; Tiny Kahn, drums on 4 tracks. Recorded "live". During this period of time Getz was referred to as "The Sound". Rare issue.

Cover: VG+ 4" split on the top edge. Old sticker from the original store that sold the record on the top corner of the front cover. slight wear and minor aging on the front and back cover. Fine overall condition.

Record: VG+ or Better Visually shows no wear. Slight groove noise for a few revolutions on Side 1. There is a tiny scratch on Track 1, Side 1 which results in 1 or 2 clicks. There is slight groove noise on Side 1 and a few scattered light clicks. There are 5 or 6 light clicks on Side 2. There are several surface rub marks, mainly on Side 2. These do not affect the sound. Some of this limited groove noise described can be attributed to the quality of the early Roost 10" L.P. issue. Audibly checked.
