Description
Stan Getz, Astrud Gilberto, Gary Burton, Gene Cherico, Eddy Marslid Signatures Autographs. Three of the four principal musicians and the vocalist of the "Getz Au Go Go" album, Verve V-8600. The signatures were obtained by me following a performance in Cameron Indoor Stadium, Duke University in 1965. All signatures are on the same sheet of paper which measures 14 x 8.5 inches. The paper has been folded in half and kept in the plastic wrapper of the Verve album. I had forgotten I had it until I played the LP on 8 July 2023. The paper has been in the dark, in a climate controlled, non-smoking home. I will pack it to assure safe arrival in the condition as seen in the photos. Sadly, I did not keep a nice photo of the group and an image of a stunning Astrud in a white gown. I am guessing as to Eddy's last name as I do not remember after 58 years and I cannot find it on line. If you know the name , please contact me.
